Last weekend at Plano Super Bowl, we had a Bowl for the Cure. With it we had an auction and I purchased a National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc. bowling ball; it is pink with the breast cancer ribbon on it. It is signed by Paul Flemming, Wes Mallot, Norm Duke, Dr. Dean Hinitz, and a few other notables. I will be collecting more autographs Friday during the day and Saturday morning. We will be auctioning it off before we start bowling Saturday morning. All proceeds from the auction will go directly to the Susan G. Komen foundation. We will give you a receipt for the purchase for your taxes. We will also be able to take a credit card if you do not have the cash.
All of us have been directly affected by this disease or have been very close to someone with it.
